God's Little Conger

I really wish I could figure out why some days I feel okay, and some days I feel really lousy.
Yesterday I felt pretty good all day. Today I feel icky. I'm kinda struggling with this, because I really thought that by 20 weeks I'd be feeling consistently good. I hate to sound like such a constant whiner, but I have to say - it is really frustrating.

  • My mother had a horrible pregnancy with my brother. She found that if she meditated in the morning (she did TM for 20 minutes a day), that her outlook was 100% better, which led to her *feeling* better. It's worth a try!

  • Some people are just "unlucky" when they're pregnant. Remember Moni? She had every problem under the sun & it lasted the entire pregnancy (esp with her 1st). Sara also had morning sickness pretty much throughout her entire pregnancy. And that's when people like you hate people like me, I guess!;)

Hope things start to look up for you soon & you feel much better & can enjoy things consistently!

  • Thanks, you two. :)
Kat, I think your mom was onto something. Back when I was seeing my wonderful counselor for my anxiety disorder, she taught me how to do "progressive relaxation" and wow did that help. I've started doing that again, combined with deep breathing. It truly does help.
